“You had someone who was despicable as Hitler who didn’t even sink to using chemical weapons,”
White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer 4/11/17
Trump promised the best and the brightest. Well lets check this one out.
The Holocaust was the systematic annihilation of six million Jews by the Nazi regime during World War 2. In 1933 approximately nine million Jews lived in the 21 countries of Europe that would be occupied by Germany during the war. By 1945 two out of every three European Jews had been killed.
So, what method did Hitler use to kill 5.967 million innocent souls.
The German extermination camps or death camps were designed and built by Nazi Germany during World War II (1939–45) to systematically kill millions of Jews, Slavs, Communists, and others whom the Nazis considered “Untermenschen“, primarily by gassing, but also in mass executions and through extreme work under starvation conditions.
Either Spicer is ignorant of history or he is just plain stupid. As the spokesperson representing the POTUS he is an unmitigated disaster. As uninformed as Trump is in many ways he certainly is aware of the history of the Holocaust.
Here is what Nancy Pelosi had to say in her statement regarding Spicer’s ignorance:
“While Jewish families across America celebrate Passover, the chief spokesman of this White House is downplaying the horror of the Holocaust.
“Sean Spicer must be fired, and the President must immediately disavow his spokesman’s statements. Either he is speaking for the President, or the President should have known better than to hire him.”
On this Pelosi is absolutely correct. Trump should have knwn better than to hire and now he must fire.

Apparently the Anne Frank Center “has released a statement calling for White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to fired for his evil spreading of the fake news that Hitler never used chemical weapons”. Politicus USA says “The Trump White House has a history of trafficking in dog whistle Holocaust denial”. Anyway, Spicey won’t resign and Trump won’t fire him.

I’m quite confident you are right. Spicer won’t resign. Trump at most might, an it is an unlikely might, direct him to give a weak apology.
On the other hand pressure is building for his resignation. We know Trump has been erratic and without a real strategy so I guess anything is possible.

POTUS press secretary is always a difficult job. Press secretary to Trump approaches the impossible. Am reminded in many ways of Nixon’s Ron
Ziegler: sweating profusely and muttering “this morning’s statement is
inoperative.” But if Spicer goes, my guess is we will be treated to Kellyanne,
also an expert in alt.fact/alt.reality. One version of the ‘inoperative statement’ is that Trump read it on some RW blog which reported a Syrian gas survivor saying that Assad was worse than Hitler..which became erroneously embellished.

As Press Secretary to Trump, Spicer represents the POTUS and speaks for the POTUS. I don’t think Spicer should resign because he perfectly represents the Trump administration: Ignorant louts.

I would prefer Trump replace Spicer with someone who would no doubt be as unqyakified as Spicer. The more buffons he goes through the more evident his own incompetrency becomes. Thatc might even change the minds of folks on WYD blog!@ 😉
