As the nation witnesses the narcissism of Trump and his utter and complete inability to acknowledge reality, accept his own failures and learn by them, and his obsession with twisting truth to fit the world he has created for himself the word integrity keeps crossing my mine.
Integrity is a concept Trump apparently has little to no understanding of.
Integrity
is standing up
for what
you believe in.
It is treating everyone
equally and fairly,
acting independent
of others that do otherwise.
It is being
open and honest,
responsible for
all of your actions.
It is speaking out
when others
are treated poorly.
It is refusing
to participate
in actions
detrimental to others.
It is admitting
and apologising
for your errors,
when mistakes
are made.
It is respecting
your environment,
your fellow humans,
and your self.
Integrity
is not a characteristic,
it is
a way of life.
It is
what you do,
and what you say,
always.
It sets you
apart from others,
it defines
you as a person.
Treat others
as you would want
to be treated.
Be upstanding,
be forthright,
be conscious
of your actions.
Remember
to always
act
with integrity.
Because Trump was able to read Stephen Miller’s speech while visiting Saudi Arabia, his supporters want everyone to fall all over themselves in appreciation for not embarrassing the hell out of America. The host countries have been warned about Trump’s short attention span and his consuming need to be flattered and told he’s a winnah! so they also were instructed to congratulate him on his electoral win. Trump has also cancelled events because he’s exhausted. Apparently, he hasn’t the stamina to carry out all of his scheduled appearances. The strangest part of his foreign visit so far has been his acknowledgemen that Islam is one of the world’s great religions — imagine hearing that from the candidate who trashed Muslims and Islam in front of his adoring supporters. Trump hasn’t a principled bone in his bloated body.

Have we ever before witnessed such unbelievable hypocrisy by a president and his party? I think not.
