Trump Being Trump…

Woo Hoo! Add another item to Trump’s list of oops. Either this guy is stupider that many thought or else he is so delusional that he thinks because he’s “president” nothing can touch him.

AXIOS – One day after tweeting that he had “not spoken to Roger [Stone] in a long time,” President Trump called Stone after watching him on various news shows in the aftermath of the firing of FBI Director James Comey, per The New Yorker.

The reason for Trump’s call: Simply to tell Stone that he did a good job on television — not surprising, as Trump is known to value loyalty above all else.

But a wrinkle: Because Stone is a witness at the center of the federal government’s Russia investigation, this could compound potential obstruction of justice concerns for Trump. One of Obama’s White House ethics lawyers told The New Yorker: “Trump just added another item to the investigators’ checklist.”

  1. It appears the GOP majority game plan is to back their man come hell or highwater: floating his boat, so to speak. IMO, it is a hazardous game plan. They are floating a rubber ducky. The electorate will come to
    their senses ere long.

    1. Indeed it is a plan likely to explode. It is still early but a flip in 2018 and 2020 is certainly looking like a possibility.

The GOP and today’s conservatism are two things to rum from. At breakneck speed. The 38%’ers will however stay true to the absurdity that is Trump, the GOP, and 21st century American conservatism.
