New Poll Shows Americans Do Not Want Trump To Remain In Office IN 2020……

We’ve been saying it’s  time for Trump to move out, move on, and let the country regain the opportunity to repair the damage Trump has wrought both at home and globally in 2020. Apparently a broad majority of Americans agree with us. Although personally I strongly support impeachment.

A new poll finds that a strong majority of voters believes that President Trump does not deserve a second term in office.

A Monmouth University survey released Wednesday found that only 37 percent of voters believe Trump should be reelected, while 60 percent said they think it’s time to have someone new in the White House.

That’s the highest percentage of voters saying they’re eager for change since Monmouth first began asking the question in November. The numbers come weeks ahead of Trump’s expected official launch for his 2020 reelection campaign.

Trump’s approval rating is at 40 percent positive and 52 percent negative. That’s at the low end of his approval ratings for the past 12 months, during which time his positive rating has been from 40 to 44 percent and his negative rating has ranged from 46 to 54 percent.

The president’s approval rating remains high among Republicans, at 86 percent positive. Thirty-seven percent of independents have a favorable view of Trump, compared to 50 percent who view him unfavorably.

The poll also found deep pessimism about the direction of the country, with 29 percent of respondents saying the U.S. is on the right track and 63 percent saying it is headed in the wrong direction.

espite the desire to elect Trump’s replacement in 2020, a majority of voters, 56 percent, say Trump should not be impeached and compelled to leave office, while 39 percent support impeachment and removal.

“A majority want someone else in the Oval Office, but are willing to wait until the next election,” said Monmouth University pollster Patrick Murray.

America now recognizes it made a big mistake electing The Donald to the presidency, a fully unqualified individual for the Office of the Presidency. Washington as well as the entire country is dying for a breath of fresh air and honesty. Both things Trump has destroyed since his first day in office in January 2017.

Truth Has A Way Of Bubbling To The Surface…..

Kudos to Justin Amash, the lone (libertarian) republican with a big enough set to essentially call for Trump’s impeachment. Here’s hoping his move ultimately creates another  Howad Baker moment for the republican party. Of course it is unlikely this will happen because the current GOP has neither the character or integrity of the 1973 re[publican party. Sadly the GOP has given up any credibility when it comes to honesty or decency.

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) on Tuesday said he would not rule out a third-party challenge to President Trump in 2020.

The Hill asked Amash if he is thinking about leaving the Republican Party to run for president as the Libertarian Party candidate.

“I’m just focused on defending the Constitution, it’s not something I’ve thought about,” Amash said. “I don’t take things off the table like that, but it’s not something at the forefront of my considerations right now. I’m just focused on my job. I wouldn’t take running for governor off the table or Senate or statehouse, I don’t take things off the table.”

Amash this week became the first Republican in the House to support impeachment proceedings against Trump.

In interviews this year, Amash has toyed with the idea of switching parties and running for president. The Michigan Republican has described himself as the only Libertarian member of Congress and has been increasingly critical of the GOP, accusing the party of abandoning its conservative values in the age of Trump.

Libertarian National Committee Chairman Nicholas Sarwark told The Hill there’s a full-scale effort underway to convince Amash to register as a Libertarian and run for president against Trump.

“There are a lot of Libertarian Party members actively encouraging Rep. Amash to switch parties and seek the Libertarian nomination,” Sarwark said. “This is probably the most organized recruitment effort I’ve seen going back to 2012 when people were trying to recruit [former Texas Rep.] Ron Paul.”…

Unfortunately William Weld has not been able to get any traction since announcing his intention to challenge Trump in 2020. An Amash Libertarian Party candidacy might be the straw that would break The Donald’s back.

One can get out and work against Trump’s reelection if you understand the dangers his presidency casts on America and her republic. That and hope for the best.
