Get Ready For USA Internal Political WW III… Trump’s Choice

The Trump Administration, with its uncommon stable genius calling the shots, has decided to give the big stiff middle finger to the Congress. Announcing that it will not cooperate with, willingly hand over documents, make administration officials available to give testimony (including the president) it will proceed to do battle with the Congress.

WASHINGTON — The White House declared war on the House impeachment inquiry on Tuesday, announcing that it would not cooperate with what it called an illegitimate and partisan effort “to overturn the results of the 2016 election” of Donald J. Trump.

In a letter to House Democratic leaders, the White House said the inquiry violated precedent and President Trump’s due process rights in such an egregious way that neither he nor the executive branch would willingly provide testimony or documents, a daring move that sets the stage for a constitutional clash.

“Your unprecedented actions have left the president with no choice,” said the eight-page letter signed by Pat A. Cipollone, the White House counsel. “In order to fulfill his duties to the American people, the Constitution, the Executive Branch, and all future occupants of the Office of the presidency, President Trump and his administration cannot participate in your partisan and unconstitutional inquiry under these circumstances.”

Yes, Trump was elected by the Electoral College with a minority of the popular vote. Therefore, by the letter of the Constitution he became our “duly” elected president.

Trump, by his actions and statements has given reason for the Congress to begin an impeachment inquiry. An inquiry is not impeachment. It is an investigative function aimed at determining whether a president ought to face impeachment by the House followed by a hearing by the Senate who makes the decision to remove the president or allow him (or her) to remain in office.

It IS the RESPONSIBILITY of the Congress to consider impeachment and if warranted, to impeach the president. It says so right in the Constitution. The same Constitution drafted by our founders. That same group of patriots that the GOP and conservatives claim a high level of allegiance and loyalty to. At least when it serves their party and its purposes.

There has been no violation of Trump’s due process rights. However, by refusing out of hand to cooperate and give Congress access to key people and documents relative to their impeachment inquiry it only serves to make Trump appear to be guilty.

If Trump is innocent of any and all wrongdoing then the testimony of his aides as well as all documentation would point to his innocence. In which case impeachment would immediately become a mute point relegated to the annals of our democratic republic and her history.

If Trump is innocent, if Trump did the right thing and chose to fully cooperate, if the reams of documents and witness testimony clearly showed Trump has done nothing improper or wrong and Congress impeached Trump in spite of his innocence the people, both republican and democrat, would raise holy hell.

Which is why it is so strange that Trump has chosen this path. Unless. Unless he is guilty as sin and knows what his aides would say and the documents would show. Puzzling, befuddling, and irrational if you ask me.

Except… he is not innocent of allegations and he knows it.

Trump and His Administration Argue To Continue Discrimination In the Workplace…

…the employers, with support from the Trump administration, argued that interpreting Title VII’s prohibition against discrimination based on “sex” to include discrimination against LGBTQ workers would be going beyond what Congress intended. When Congress passed Title VII in 1964, the term “sex” was meant to refer to a person’s biological sex, they said, and courts had overstepped by finding it also covered sexual orientation and transgender status.

It is true that Trump and his administration is fine with discriminating against LGBTQ individuals in the workplace. It is on record as having argued in essence just that.

May Trump and his administration pay the ultimate price. DEFEAT in 2020.

The Stable Genius’ Administration Fights Back…

Trump, in his extreme genius, has determined that stonewalling congress and its impeachment inquiry is exactly what a stable genius should do.

America’s stable genius, the only one who can fix what ails us, is working hard at protecting America  from that enemy of the people known as the free and independent press.

Our great and infallible president would like nothing better than to send Ambassador Sondland on over to Congress, but his exceptional genius has put the brakes on such foolish thoughts.

Trump The Great One, with his amazing iron grip on logic and pure rational thought knows that Congress is infested with scoundrels and liars that want only to destroy him, and his administration (the greatest in history he wants you to know). And, his truth be know, the country and all it stands for and all it has ever stood for.

Yes indeed. The Great and Infallible Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, is doing Herculean feats as he works to protect the American people from the nefarious media and Congress.

And, as an aside, he will receive myriad personal benefits if His Excellency succeeds with his great undertakings.

On to the serious…

One of the administration’s first moves: the State Department on Tuesday barred Gordon Sondland, the U.S. European Union ambassador, from appearing before a House panel conducting the impeachment inquiry into Trump.

“I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public to see,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Sondland’s attorney, Robert Luskin, said his client was “profoundly disappointed” that he wouldn’t be able to testify. A whistleblower’s complaint and text messages released by another envoy portray Sondland as a potentially important witness to allegations that the Republican president sought to dig up dirt on a Democratic rival in the name of foreign policy.

Wouldn’t it be both a simple solution as well as the right thing to do for Sondland to resign and then testify?

I suppose not if you’re a trumper and in over your own head in criminal activity.

We anxiously await the outcome of this national drama.  We also trust that the institutions of  our government are strong enough to overcome the severe test placed upon it by DJT. America’s stable genius.

Quid Pro Quo, ABSOLUTELY! Now, OBSTRUCTION of Justice…

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration directed a top American diplomat involved in its pressure campaign on Ukraine not to appear Tuesday morning for a scheduled interview in the House’s impeachment inquiry.

The decision to block Gordon D. Sondland, the United States ambassador to the European Union, from speaking with investigators for three House committees is certain to provoke an immediate conflict with potentially profound consequences for the White House and President Trump. House Democrats have repeatedly warned that if the administration tries to interfere with their investigation, it will be construed as obstruction, a charge they see as potentially worthy of impeachment.

This is HUGE.

Undoubtedly Trump is as guilty as hell of quid pro quo. With this development he is absolutely guilty of obstruction of justice.
