Trump, in his extreme genius, has determined that stonewalling congress and its impeachment inquiry is exactly what a stable genius should do.
America’s stable genius, the only one who can fix what ails us, is working hard at protecting America from that enemy of the people known as the free and independent press.
Our great and infallible president would like nothing better than to send Ambassador Sondland on over to Congress, but his exceptional genius has put the brakes on such foolish thoughts.
Trump The Great One, with his amazing iron grip on logic and pure rational thought knows that Congress is infested with scoundrels and liars that want only to destroy him, and his administration (the greatest in history he wants you to know). And, his truth be know, the country and all it stands for and all it has ever stood for.
Yes indeed. The Great and Infallible Donald J. Trump, President of the United States, is doing Herculean feats as he works to protect the American people from the nefarious media and Congress.
And, as an aside, he will receive myriad personal benefits if His Excellency succeeds with his great undertakings.
On to the serious…
One of the administration’s first moves: the State Department on Tuesday barred Gordon Sondland, the U.S. European Union ambassador, from appearing before a House panel conducting the impeachment inquiry into Trump.
“I would love to send Ambassador Sondland, a really good man and great American, to testify, but unfortunately he would be testifying before a totally compromised kangaroo court, where Republican’s rights have been taken away, and true facts are not allowed out for the public to see,” Trump wrote on Twitter.
Sondland’s attorney, Robert Luskin, said his client was “profoundly disappointed” that he wouldn’t be able to testify. A whistleblower’s complaint and text messages released by another envoy portray Sondland as a potentially important witness to allegations that the Republican president sought to dig up dirt on a Democratic rival in the name of foreign policy.
Wouldn’t it be both a simple solution as well as the right thing to do for Sondland to resign and then testify?
I suppose not if you’re a trumper and in over your own head in criminal activity.
We anxiously await the outcome of this national drama. We also trust that the institutions of our government are strong enough to overcome the severe test placed upon it by DJT. America’s stable genius.
